This cute knit hat is so cute and great for a photography prop. It is also very warm and cozy, so your little ones will stay nice and warm. This little guy thought it was so much fun playing with the tail and making it swing back and forth behind him. :-) So cute!!! Made with acrylic, so you can wash this in the machine, though I am not sure how the pom pom would do in the washer. To be on the safe side you may want to wash by hand and lay out to dry. Teddy Bear Hat

I have been working on this design for the last few days. I have wanted to make a teddy bear hat since last winter. I am really happy with the way these turned out. I made two slightly different types of ears and the two sizes. The smaller size is for newborns and the ears are hollow, the larger is for 3-9 months and the ears and flat with the bottom pulled together to make the ear curl in slightly.
This one is the smaller size, should fit newborn to 3 months.
This is the larger one and has the flat ears. Should fit 3-9 month old little ones.

This hat was so much fun to make and all the little ones that saw me making it thought it was so cool.
I love the way it turned out! It will work for a little boy or girl! Not only will it keep your little ones ears and head warm, but it also it a fun toddler style. I think I am going to make a few more in some other colors!. ;-) It is made from a nice soft acrylic, so it is really easy to care for.
